SCHOOLS ONLY FOR GIRLS

The establishment of  “Schools only for girls”  opens new horizons in socialization and active participation of women in public affairs.The education of girls works more like presumption class origin , as complementary ” dowry ” that could ensure best wedding

Great “School only for Girls” abroad : Zarifeio , Averofio , Rodokanakio

1831: The first School for Girls’ named “Hill”  in Piraeus.   Important schoolgirls , Myrtiotissa , Kiveli , Paxinou

1854: Founded in Thessaloniki the first School for Girls

1914: The “schools for  Girls” incorporated in the Public Education System

1939:  The “schools for Girls” became Junior high school for girls

1908-1911: Founded by A.Delmouzos in Volos the “School for girls”

Built Minister decree approved the teaching of the book for this school year , class and determined the price.

The corresponding Greek Christomatheias was French and Ottoman
